The Motherhouse is a private nursing facility, nestled among the rolling hills in Southern Tier NY, owned and operated by the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany in Allegany, NY.
It is an 80 bed facility that currently houses 55 Sisters within multiple levels of care, including Skilled Care, Memory Care, Assisted Living and Independent Living.
We are looking for an individual to lead our team! The Franciscan Sisters of Allegany are in search of a full-time, experienced Administrator. The right candidate will guide the team in providing quality care to our retired religious Sisters.

The Administrator will be responsible for the 24 hour operation of the entire facility and grounds, financial budgeting, and day to day operation of the facility. They will have oversight of 7 department heads (Administration, Activities, Dietary, Housekeeping, Nursing, Maintenance and Switchboard) with 65 employees.
​
The right candidate will hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or related field with 3-5 years of experience in an administrative capacity. A Master’s Degree is preferred along with some experience among the women religious geriatric population.
